O•VAD•YA blends powerful, transcendent, accessible songs with lush instrumentation, addictive modalities, and interesting time signatures. Their sound is often described as “Pink Floyd Meets the MidEast”.

A Psychedelic Panoply

This is not your average show—it's a truly unique experience that takes you from 10th-century Moroccan textures to haunting Appalachian longing.

The Asheville incarnation of the band boasts a group of sought-after local & nationally known musicians, including women who have:

• Toured Europe and performed with/opened for The Hooters and Tommy Conwell.

• Been featured in Guitar World magazine and received Polygram label interest.

• Recorded with monster guitarist Phil Keaggy and sat in with Koko Taylor.

The result is a psychedelic panoply of music , featuring gorgeous sax and a wash of electric violin , bone-snapping drums , and ominous bass.
