Join us at Shamrock Irons Irish Pub for an evening of authentic Chicago blues with **Mr Jimmy**.

Mr Jimmy is the solo project of guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter **Jimmy “Ang” Anderson**, founder of the legendary Chicago Kingsnakes Blues Band. Since forming the Kingsnakes in 1983, Anderson has performed thousands of shows and built a reputation for delivering real-deal Chicago-style blues.

A lifelong resident of Chicago’s South Side before relocating to Asheville in 2018, Mr Jimmy has shared the stage with blues legends including Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor, Little Milton, James Cotton, Junior Wells, Jimmy Dawkins, and Johnny Twist.

Now based in Western North Carolina, Mr Jimmy continues to perform his original blues along with classic Chicago blues influences. In 2025 he was voted one of the **Best Blues Performers in Western North Carolina** by readers of Mountain Xpress for the fourth year in a row.

Join us in downtown Asheville for a night of genuine blues from one of the region’s standout performers.
