Swampalachia brings the sounds of Cajun swamps and Appalachian peaks together at Shamrock Irons on Sunday, October 25.

Longtime Asheville musicians Trent Van Blaircom and Jeff Benedict blend Cajun, Appalachian old-time, Americana, Irish music, honky tonk, and blues into a roots sound all their own. Trent brings his background with Zydeco Ya Ya while Jeff draws from his work with My New Favorites, creating a lively mix of traditional rhythms, unexpected combinations, and plenty of groove.
